Two in one day wow look at me go.
The more you travel the more you start to pick up on all the different types of travelers and the way they interact with the places they vist, some better then others. On the ride back to Antigua, I was blessed with all 4 in the same bus and decided to share my working list with you.
The glampers- characterized by their overwhelming presence, vocal refusal to conform to societal norms, and extensive room service bills from the nearest 5 star hotel. Needless to say these are not my favorite travelers and they can make things quite unpleasant. (You know who you are)
The Wanderlust- best described by their love for culture, food, and language. Always make an effort to learn a couple phrases in an unfamiliar language and never turn down an adventure. Always have crazy travel stories and know how to tell them.
The Roughing it- these guys have been through it. Backpacked around the world living out of a plastic
bag from target. Know the best hidden routes and eats in any given town. Can reset a dislocated shoulder with some duct tape and a rock
The Sprinters- always want to do everything on day one and keep the energy alive. Never seem to rest and stay up all night planning trips for the next day. Run on energy drinks, takis, and adrenaline.
